Trials

Trials - just when everything is going so well ....now we are missing 3 cheerleaders - one to family responsibilities and the others to academic responsibilities.

Well, I shed a few tears for Ana and I will greatly miss her spirit and lovely smile. Taking care of a loved one is a great responsibility especially when you have to give up something you love to do it. I commend her for her dedication to family as many people would not be so willing to give up something they like.

As for the girls with academic set - backs, let's get back on track so you don't have to be gone too long!

We don't like it when we are in the middle of trials, but the Lord has a special plan for each of us through the trials we face. When bad things happen in our lives, we tend to ask why. What is the purpose? Trials will help us if we understand why the Lord allows them ......... we see things more clearly. We become more passionate. Our faith is strengthened. Our character matures. Our souls are purified. Our understanding of God's character is broadened. And our hearts are softened. It is important not to let the negative aspects of trials take hold and compromise our character, cloud our vision and our understanding of God, and harden our hearts. We have a choice. We can't change what has happened, but we can determine the effect it will have - will we be bitter or better.
"My ears had heard of you, but now my eyes have seen you" (Job 42:5 NIV).

Here is my prayer ...... Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for these trials that have drawn me closer to You. Help me to always see the trials of my life through Your eyes. Thank You for the hard times that have made me who I am today. Help me to correct the areas that need work and please strengthen me where I am weak. I am complete through You. In Jesus Name,
Amen

Love you all and am praying for you.
